A while back I played a point-and-click adventure game called Samorost. It was a really fun experience with an inspiring art design. I just saw a video of the latest creation from the same team that created Samorost called Machinarium. Damn it looks good. The art style is more of the same (which is great) except this time it seems like they’ve abandoned the simplistic Flash animation models. The main character you control, a robot, fits into the world and background as if it’s a picture book come to life. The gameplay doesn’t stray far either, offering the simplistic point and click to solve puzzles.

Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint when it releases this fall. Its price point is a bit more steep than Samorost 2 which was priced at $5. This one is priced at $20 but this game looks really hard to pass up.
